Lacunae: Elegy for My Mother

Artist Lisa Wilde has created a series, has been serialized by Mutha Magazine called “Lacunae: Elegy For My Mother”. She says of her project, “This serialized webzine has a spare narrative, the power (I hope) is carried primarily by the drawings, which are childlike and visceral. A friend said they were a cross between Chagall and Munch, with a little Eva Hesse thrown in.”

The first installment of the series is here and you can find all five installments here.
